A Time To Be Born
Reginald J.D. Elloie was born March 17, 1999, in New Orleans, Louisiana to his loving parents
Prophetess Michelle Hitchens, and Reginald Elloie. He was also blessed to have another father
in his life, Warren Mellion Jr. Reginald was the oldest of five kids, and left his memories
with his one sister, MayKayLa Hitchens, and four brothers Warren Mellion III., Randon,
Rashad, and Lorenzo Elloie.
He received his education in the Private and Public school system in Orleans and St. Tammany Parish: Park Forest Elementary, St. Tammany Jr. High, and North
Shore High School. He was baptized in 2005 by the late Rev. Eugene Wilson of Sweet Home Christian Center in Kenner, Louisiana, and when he started his own personal walk with God, he joined Living The Word International. Reginald was deeply rooted in his faith and all that
knew him felt his spirit through his larger-than-life smile. His faith sustained him and his faith carried him.
A Time To Live And Love
In 2017 Reginald graduated and his young adult life started by attending Northshore Technical Community College. In the spring of 2019, he completed his CGS, and by the summer of 2022, he completed his AGS. During his time at NTCC, Reggie was a student worker on campus as well as an officer in the Student Government Association.
In 2022 Reginald attended Southeastern Louisiana University where he completed some of his prerequisites before transferring to Southern University of Baton Rouge. Reginald Elloie was scheduled to graduate this May with his degree in Bachelor of Science in Business
Management with a concentration in Accounting.
Reginald was in the following organizations: Collegiate 100, SGA-Mens Federation, Jaguar Activities Board, University
College Ambassador, Marketing and Management Club, College of Business Ambassador, Residential Assistant, Beta Gamma Sigma International, Business Honors Society, OSLE, Res Life Step Team, FYE-First Year Experience, Orientation Leader, and Son of a Saint.
To know Reggie was a blessing, his smile was contagious.
A Time To Laugh And Dance
Reginald J.D. Elloie had a bigger-than-life smile. To know Reggie was to love him. His smile was contagious and his personality was lovable. His commitment to serving God, his family, and his community was first on his list of things to accomplish.
When it came down to a good laugh, Reggie was that guy. He would tell a joke in a minute and have you laughing until tears came out of your eyes. Oh, and let's not forget, he was the life of the party.
When he walked into the place he was always ready to dance. His dance moves, along with his larger-than-life smile welcomed you into his world. And let's not forget that he would always give you a word from the word. Reginald J.D. Elloie your larger-than-life smile, jokes,
personality and dance moves will be missed.
A Time To Rest
On January 30, 2023, God dispatched an Angel from Heaven to return Reginald to him.
